Yes, I did. I am so proud of president elect Barack Obama. I new from the start that he woul win the election. This is a time for change. As a christian, and a seventh Day Adventist, I also believe in prophecy. That is why I was sure of this historical victory. Also being a female Haitian American mother/teacher,it means a lot to me because haitians'morale can be lifted up and I can easily help my young black students to look up to a great role model in Mr. President electBarack Obama. Someone they can identify with. I am also proud because African Americans from around the globe may continue to be proud of their heritage as they continue to make history. forty years later after Dr,M.L. King jr's speech " I Have A Dream !", we as a people can see the fulfillment and the realization of that dream.
