Barack Obama wins in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.
He beat John McCain 15 out of 21 votes.
Why is that important?
The last democrat to win this little town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, was Hubert H. Humphrey II badk in 1968.
They've been voting republican since then.
